Participants

I am a professor in meteorology and my main research interests are clouds and aerosol particles, and the various ways aerosol particles can influence weather, circulation and climate.
To study these procesess, I develop and use numerical models ranging from the local to global scale. Some specific research interests include aerosol impacts on low-level stratocumulus clouds in the subtropics and the Arctic, aerosol impacts on large-scale circulation in the atmosphere and ocean, and processing and transport of aerosols by clouds.
