My background is in computational mathematics, with my PhD research focusing on mathematical modelling of geophysical fluid dynamics. My research projects have included identifying optimal configurations of observation networks in data assimilation schemes, and global sensitivity analyses of model output to perturbations in the observations and system parameters. Currently I am investigating machine learning methods for developing statistical surrogates for earth system models, in order to conduct robust sensitivity analyses for aerosol radiative forcing.
